Thanks For The Memories – Esther Williams 1921-2013

The Book, The Film, The T-Shirt was very sad to hear of the death of Esther Williams at the age of 91. One of the last remaining stars of the golden age of Hollywood, Williams was known as the ‘Million Dollar Mermaid’ as she transitioned from national swimming champion to MGM movie star.

She is survived by husband Edward, son Benjamin and daughter Susan.

We will be looking more closely at the films of Esther Williams in the coming weeks.
