Lights, Camera, Cosplay take two!
Posing as one of the most anticipated events in London, all aboard the comic express as The Book, The Film, The T-Shirt welcomes itself eagerly to the doors of the Excel for the annual London Super Comic Con!
The amount of cosplayers we’ve witnessed have been insane! Curtosy of Mario Costas, passing some of the most incredible characters has been truly divine! We even spotted a few familiar costume guests including the fabulous Enji Knight, D-Piddy, Vampy Bit Me, Kamui Cosplay… the list was endless!
We’ve already spent a day in what can only be described as the nirvana of comic-conventions, whisking past many familiar faces including the great Eisner-Award-Winning Brian Bolland, best known for creating fantastic visuals in the jaw-dropping comic, Batman: The Killing Joke alongside Alan Moore; the adventurous writer and illustrator Frank Cho capturing some of our favourite comic-strips of The Hulk, Shanna the She-Devil and plenty more to tickle our funny bones! Least we forgot the noble artists and writers of Mike Zeck, Humberto Ramos, David Finch, CB Cebulski and of course, Marv Wolfman!
Tipping hats to the sea of goodies too, dipping our hands into comic books, food, action figures, incredible artwork, heck there was even an artist willing to draw us as sloths!
Those looking to share their comic art, comic conceptions or just showing their amazing cosplay, the London Super Comic Con is definitely a place for us like-minded nerds to bump heads and celebrate the joys of how our favourite super heroes or characters unite for a weekend of pure comic adventures!
