With only a few short weeks to go until the 86th Academy Awards. We asked some of our writers here at The Book, The Film, The T-Shirt who they wanted to win the coveted Oscar. Yet, who we want to win and who we think will win are often very different realities – even for those of us meant to be ‘in the know’. With so many Oscar baiting topics vying for the attention of the Academy’s social conscience (forgive the cynical pragmatism here) it’s too tough to call this year.
All our predictions were made before the BAFTA ceremony this week.
The Oscars take place on 2nd March and will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres – let’s see who’s right on the night.
