The Fifty Shades of Grey franchise is finally here and for fans it’s going to be the biggest, sexiest film for 2015!
But, I fail to see the sex appeal in the trailer, its just the main girl looking more disheartened than Bella Swan. The trailer seemingly reflects the writing of the series, a little dull, no sense being made bits of BDSM thrown in.
But readers want to know will it be as dirty as the book, will we get that god awful script of him licking her out whilst she’s on her menstrual cycle? (it’s called scat for you newbies), how many times will she say ‘Oh my’ ?
I bloody well hope not! See what I did there.. or didn’t do, or would never ever do.
So here’s a little glimpse into the story, Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) is a timid virgin who hides herself away from the big world and can’t look anyone in the eye (and the award for inspirational women goes to..)
But it all changes when she meets the rich, sexy businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) who lives the high life that everyone wants, but with every highflyer there’s a secret he’s keeping, he’s into darker pleasures and wants Anastasia to join him for fun and games in his dungeon.
The trailer shows Anastasia’s world being turned upside down (because Grey takes her gliding) the bad boy stereotype will be drawn up here, as this is sure to end horribly and the bittersweet love between them takes its ever growing turns into all sorts of sexual endeavours. There will be heart breaking moments, or scenes that make your blood boil, however way you look at it, 50 Shades will be a big hit for many, I hope this film lives up to the fans expectations, already many have complained the actor Jamie Dornan isn’t the ideal character for Grey, I guess in reality you can’t have it all.
So its official, porn has made it to the big screen !

At least it wont be one of those times where the film ruins the book…I mean, how can it? ha.
In all seriousness I have not read more than two chapters of accidentally the second book( didn’t know which book was the first). I quickly had more important things to do and did not read any more, so was saved the menstruation scene *baulk*.
I do know I have numerous friends waiting to see how raunchy and sexy the lead role is, whilst I myself would probably spend the whole film wanting to stamp on his sexist little head!
I tried reading the book, but it was so poorly written that I couldn’t get into it. It’s not going to even be as graphic as the book as the MPAA would never allow for such graphic nudity there is in the book. I imagine that there will be some nudity, but it wont be on that level. Plus if it was, it’d get an NC17 rating and most theaters wont show it.
